Our Mission

Our mission is to help those with chronic pain lead healthier lives

Chronic pain took 7 years of my life from me. I remember years ago crying in my bed in a dark room tucked in the fetal position remembering how a doctor had told me that I had no hope to get better and that I’d have to deal with this feeling for the rest of my life. Pain is scary because it’s an invisible disease and I felt so alone.

I refused to believe that doctor and I left my career to study chronic pain full time. I lived and breathed it as if my life depended on it because it did; I met with over 75 physicians. I tried dozens of treatments, topicals, devices, injections, therapies, pharmaceuticals and more. It was a huge time and financial cost; I was desperate, but determined.

Over time I started to learn tools and meet people who could help me. I wished for a platform that existed where I could be seen, heard, and believed, which is why I decided to build Feather Health. I believe that our pain doesn’t define us, yet it can act as the thread that connects us to support, encourage, and heal.
